After spending much of last year painting landscapes I found this painting so much fun. The concept came to me a while ago and is a play on images and subject. The thing I enjoyed mostly about making this painting was working with the figurative elements’ to tell the story of how people view there slice of paradise.

This painting is inspired from spending endless days surfing my favorite point break. My intention with this painting was to explore story telling through different portholes in the composition. At the time I was also just starting to use an airbrush alot which adds a beautiful softness to the painting
